This summer has simply flown by!  Can you believe we are approaching fall?  The skier in me is almost ready for the blower pow I know Ullr owes us after last year, but I’m still hanging on to swims in the river and slowly changing aspens.  Call me sappy, but Fall has been a little vixen the past few times she’s come around, seducing everyone with her color and undeniable need to switch things up.   With 75 degree sunny days and 35 degree chilly nights, she takes us through all our needs to express our differences.

After attending a totally freaking awesome same sex wedding this month, it made me realize how lucky we are to live in a state that is accepting and free.  Like Autumn, we welcome the only constant: change.  True, we humans will always encounter people who disagree with our own choices, but I hope we move through this world in peace.  Let your uniqueness shine!  Equality for couples was a giant victory across the country, and our Rocky Mountain highlands are continuing to pioneer the movement to embrace “different” and “other” in many ways.
