Local’s tip: When descending into the valley from Rabbit Ears (heading West on Highway 40 towards Steamboat Springs from Denver), you will see a few yellow emergency signs for trucks with lost breaks.  After passing the brown “National Forest Land” sign on your left, you will see the “Runaway Truck Ramp” on your right–Bella Vista’s gate is exactly .8 miles from this ramp on your left.  If you pass The Timbers, a large wooden complex on your right, you’ve gone too far! *Be careful not to follow directions for Bella Vista Circle, they are unaffiliated*
